A National Level Conference on “Bamboo Cultivation & Value Addition” is being organized by Tripura Bamboo Mission- IL & FS CDI Ltd. on 15th to 17th December 2008 at Pragna Bhaban, Agartala
A National Level Conference on “Bamboo Cultivation & Value Addition” followed by a “Buyer – seller meet” was being organized by Tripura Bamboo Mission – IL & FS CDI Ltd. on 15th to 17th December 2008 at Pragna Bhaban, Agartala. The program inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Tripura and attended by Hon’ble ministers and senior officials from different State Governments, exporters, importers and scientists. Around 100 delegates from outside and more than 250 participants from within the state attended the three days program. The following Hon’ble Ministers from outside the state participated in the National Level Conference:-

The objective of the program is to create awareness at different level on bamboo cultivation and value addition with focus on strengthening livelihood of the community and mobilize various buyers from different parts of the country and producers from within the state.
